Installation Advice
For best results, we recommend secret nailing or using a full stick-down method with a high-quality adhesive such as Sika professional wood flooring glue. Floating installation is also possible on suitable underlay, though fixed installation provides maximum stability.
Before installation:
- Inspect all boards for colour, finish, and quality.
- Hold back or trim any boards with visible defects.
- Ensure the subfloor and job site conditions meet Source Wood Floors’ installation standards.
- Always allow 5–10% for wastage based on your room layout.
